Key Responsibilities:

  • Orient new faculty on program structure, classroom expectations, and employment policies.
  • Conduct timely faculty performance evaluations per company guidelines.
  • Lead continuous curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Incorporate feedback from students, clinical sites, and surveys to drive performance improvement.
  • Prevent conflicts of interest between personal faculty activities and institutional offerings (e.g., selling test prep to students).
  • Coordinate term schedules to ensure course availability and adequate faculty coverage.
  • Oversee student advising to ensure timely program progression and graduation readiness.
  • Support students through the licensure preparation and testing process.
  • Participate in campus ceremonies, including pinning and graduation.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective leadership, communication, and faculty evaluation skills.
  • Ensure student evaluations of faculty are completed each grading period and shared with instructors.
  • Assign experienced faculty mentors to support onboarding of new hires.
  • Identify and advocate for instructional resources, clinical sites, and technology aligned with industry trends.
  • Represent the program in campus and committee meetings related to policy, curriculum, and operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership on catalog and curriculum reviews as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality instruction that aligns with academic and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other campuses, programs, and state regulatory bodies.
  • Serve as liaison with the State Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies for compliance.
  • Submit required reports per accreditation and board guidelines.
  • Attend and lead meetings with faculty, advisory boards, and regulatory entities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain professional competence through continuing education, clinical practice, publishing, or association participation.
  • Represent the organization positively in the community and uphold institutional values.
  • Involve faculty in department planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and course/resource decisions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, or administration.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative or leadership position.
  • At least four (4) years of full-time nursing experience, including at least one (1) year providing direct patient care as a registered nurse.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a pre- or post-licensure nursing program.
  • Hold a valid, active RN license in the state where you are applying.
  • Must have prior teaching experience in a board-approved RN, VN, PN, or Psychiatric Technician program.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered per the relevant State Board of Nursing guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $130,000 – $140,000
